I am an architectural designer profoundly interested in the power design has to promote human dignity and create a more climate positive future.
For the last 5 years, I have been working with MASS Design Group out of their East Africa office, living in Kigali, Rwanda and Nairobi, Kenya. My time there solidified my shared mission to research, build, and advocate for architecture that promotes justice and human dignity. My work continues to strive for these goals.
I received a Bachelors of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin, my hometown school. During my time at UT, I became deeply involved in academic and research projects related to community-oriented and sustainable design practices. This included several material research assistant positions as well as community engagement travel studios. This excitement to learn more about the world around me has taken me around the world; studying at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture in Paris, and traveling throughout Europe, Oceania, South Asia, and Africa.
I have worked for Allied Works Architecture in Portland, Oregon; Kelly Grossman Architects in Austin, Texas; The University of Texas at Austin; Murray Legge Architecture in Austin, Texas and MASS Design Group in Kigali, Rwanda.
